After all of the fuss, the viewers found out Tuesday night that they didn’t even kiss.
The “they” were the two actors in the vignette Offsides, which is not a hit television series but part of Postcards from Paradise. The student authored play generated a countywide controversy in the wake of its performance last week at Stone Bridge High by the school’s drama club when two male actors supposedly kissed one another.
“There was absolutely no touching of our lips,” said Aaron Henry, one of the two actors.
It’s hard to remember a time that the school board meeting room at 102 North Street in Leesburg was quieter without being completely empty as viewers strained to see and hear a grainy videotape of the play so they could assess for themselves what really happened.
