Sterling, this is your Supervisor

Having heard that Eugene Delgaudio has toned it way down on the dais now that he is the standard bearer for the GOP on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, we were excited/entertained/relieved to come across yet another alleged fundraising letter for “Public Advocate USA,” the “organization” through which Eugene liberates ignorant, fearful people from their money.

We don’t know whether there is any actual association between Eugene and “volubrjotr,” a tin hat blogger with an intense fondness for Photoshop, only that the blogger has posted this alleged letter signed by Eugene on his site. Both the letter and post are dated July 17 (not April 1), and there is nothing to indicate (other than its deranged content) that this is a joke. Also, the poor editorial quality of the piece leaves as an open question whether this heading was original to Eugene’s letter or was inserted by the blogger:

Liberals promoting sodomy and carpet licking as a form of population control with government financed abortions – all the while supporting the abortion and pornography cartel.

Alrighty then. Sterling residents especially, enjoy below the fold (but you must visit the site in order to fully experience the work product of this most excellent partnership). Once again, I expect to get emails from folks in Sterling expressing how shocked they are to find out what the funny little man in the orange hat is actually like.

The ridiculousness of the content speaks for itself, but for a roundup of the current Anti-Gay Industry lies regarding the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes bill, see here, here, here, here, here, and here, among many others.

July 17, 2009

Dear Americans,

Ted Kennedy’s Thought Control Bill (HR 1913, mis-labeled the Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009) has already passed the House and President Obama is sure to sign it into law.

I’m Eugene Delgaudio, President of Public Advocate of the United States. For almost three decades Public Advocate has been defending traditional American family values from the radical assaults of the Homosexual Lobby.

Now I’m contacting you to help stop this dangerous bill.

With Democrats firmly in control of the Senate, there is only one man who can stop Thought Control from coming to a vote.

I’m talking about Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who just happens to be up for re-election next year.

And do you know what else? Harry Reid is also the most vulnerable Democrat in the U.S. Senate today.

A poll taken earlier this year shows that half of his own state of Nevada dislikes him — and a whopping 20% just can’t stand the man.

Harry Reid is walking on eggshells right now. And if he wants another term, he’s going to have to listen to folks both in Nevada and across America.

You see, in his role as Majority Leader, he is expected to represent his party nationwide. And moreover, citizens across America may take an interest in his bid for re-election.

I have a petition to Harry Reid ready for you to sign, but let me first explain why this is so important, and what Public Advocate is planning.

The petition tells Harry Reid to move Ted Kennedy’s Thought Control Bill to its rightful place — off the Senate calendar and into the trashcan.

Public Advocate is contacting millions of pro-family supporters across the nation in an effort to launch a tidal wave of these petitions at Harry Reid.

However, this is just the beginning.

Harry Reid is already in desperate trouble in Nevada. Imagine if millions of pro-family citizens across America were to apply extra pressure to hold him accountable for his votes against the family!

If Thought Control were to pass, American citizens could be prohibited from expressing Christian beliefs about the immorality of homosexuality under penalty of law, and pastors could face imprisonment for simply preaching against sin.

Unless you and I act at once, Congress will declare letters and speeches that “offend” radical homosexuals illegal.

It’s already happening in Scandinavia, Canada and Australia.

In Sweden, a Pentecostal pastor was indicted, convicted and sentenced to 30 days in jail for violating a law criminalizing “hate speech” against homosexuals when he gave the Biblical view of homosexuality during a Sunday worship service.

And in Mount Vernon, Illinois, two FBI agents interrogated a pastor after an anonymous informant complained about his sermon that quoted the Bible’s condemnation of homosexuality.

Under Thought Control, the FBI could begin hunting down and investigating pastors, me or even you at a moment’s notice.

In fact, I wouldn’t even be allowed to write you this email. I would be engaging in criminal activity.

That’s why I must have your help, signed petition and a generous contribution today.

The petition tells Harry Reid in no uncertain terms: “Don’t Silence Christians!” – which is exactly what Ted Kennedy’s Thought Control Bill will do if the Homosexual Lobby bullies it into law.

We cannot let Thought Control pass — no matter the cost.

Public Advocate has stopped the Homosexual Agenda many times before with only modest resources.

But everything Public Advocate accomplishes stems from the dedication and generosity of pro-family Americans like you.

That’s why I’m asking for your help.

First, I need you to click below to submit your petition to Harry Reid.

Second, Public Advocate’s Nevada campaign won’t be cheap.

Your helping hand keeps Public Advocate at the front of the battle for the American family.

Public Advocate is taking the message to the mail, phones, radio, internet and newspapers all over the nation and especially Nevada.

We’ll have America’s and Nevada’s families insisting with one voice: “Don’t Silence Christians!”

You too can be a part of this battle.

You too can have a hand in stopping Thought Control.

You too can force Harry Reid to do the right thing.

We have to keep Harry Reid from allowing a vote on Ted Kennedy’s Thought Control.

We have to make Harry Reid realize that he’ll destroy any chance of surviving the 2010 elections if he gives Thought Control a free pass.

As Senate Majority Leader, he owns this bill.

But unless he kills it, we’ll own him.

My friend, I want you to understand that we can do this.

Together, we can stop this thing cold and have Harry Reid eating nothing but crow for the next year.

It’s going to take hard work from both of us.

But I’m ready.

Are you?

It is absolutely vital that you join Public Advocate in this fight for our nation’s families and the very moral order of our society.

There’s no time to lose.

We don’t know how quickly the Homosexual Lobby will move on this, so we have to get a head start.

Then, to help fund this fight, please make a generous donation of $250, $100, $50 or whatever you think is right.

I hope I can count on you. Let’s go!

    “Hate Bill” Favoritism

If “hate bill”-obsessed Congress can’t protect Christians from “gays” as much as it wants to protect “gays” from Christians, will Congress be surprised if it can’t protect itself from most everyone? If “hate bills” are forced on captive Americans, they’ll still find ways to sneakily continue to “plant” Biblical messages everywhere. By doing so they’ll hasten God’s judgment on their oppressors as revealed in Proverbs 19:1. (See related web items including “David Letterman’s Hate, Etc.,” “Separation of Raunch and State,” “Michael the Narc-Angel,” and “Bible Verses Obama Avoids.”) Since Congress can’t seem to legislate “morality,” it’s making up for it by legislating “immorality”!

  2. David says:

Jill, it’s kind of hard to make any sense of your comment. Can you explain in what way you feel Christians need to be protected from gay people? What about gay Christians? And would you be in favor of rescinding all previous hate crimes legislation that targets violent crimes committed against people on the basis of their race, nationality, and yes, religion?

Please educate yourself on the lies you are being told about the Matthew Shepard bill. I have provided several links that expose them.

  3. I or Public Advocate have nothing to to with this blog that you cite in the first paragraph.

Public Advocate is not affiliated with my campaign or the office of Sterling Supervisor.

I am providing a link here in plain old url for a true copy of the actual letter. We are on the internet at and today thousands receive our electronic letters sent out to potential supporters, also.

    Hon. Eugene Delgaudio
    President, Public Advocate

  4. The posting and other “artwork” you refer to in the first paragraph at “volubrjotr,” a tin hat blogger” has been removed per my request.
