A delegation of speakers staged an encore presentation of the play policy debate Tuesday night when one speaker told the school board his organization would sue if the newly adopted policy results in “viewpoint discrimination.”
“Make no mistake,” said Equality Loudoun President David Weintraub. “If abuse of this policy results in unlawful viewpoint discrimination, if there is one child who is told that the idea they want to express is too controversial, or one drama sponsor who is told to self-censor to avoid controversy – and believe me, we will hear about those things – there will be a lawsuit.”
