Stone Bridge High School Principal Jim Person must have known he was putting his neck on the block when he approved a student theatrical production that employed the reality of homosexuality to take a good, close look at bullying and peer pressure.
Mr. Person deserves a rousing cheer, maybe a raise, for being a real leader, a role model for his students, a principal who isn’t afraid to let them explore their world and to present their ideas. He reviewed the play with the student author, requested some changes – which she made – and gave it the OK.
