Bill would ban homosexuals from adopting

Homosexual Virginians can’t marry or enter into marriage-type contracts with each other. Soon, they may not be able to adopt children, either.

Western Prince William Delegate Robert G. Marshall, R-13th District, signed onto HB 2921 submitted by Loudoun Delegate Richard H. Black, R-32nd District. The bill mirrors a Florida law barring homosexuals from adopting children.

“The creator of nature set up a system where a child comes from a mother and a father, and needs to be nurtured by a mother and a father,” Marshall said. “You want to remake the social order? There are limits to everything.”
