Waters’ Bid To Restrict Libraries Is Rebuffed

A library materials request of nearly $1 million by the Loudoun County Public Library system prompted heated debate among the board of supervisors over whether it should place restrictions on how the annual materials funding is spent . .

. . Delgaudio was the most vocal supporter of offering guidance on spending the money. “If there’s direction we can give, we should give it,” he said, referring to community standards.
