SCHOOL BOARD POISED TO PLEASE MAINSTREAM LOUDOUN, WASHINGTON POST AND THE GAY LOBBY
I have been writing a lot about this. It is the most talked about issue last year, and this year, in Sterling and Loudoun County. All because the School board has moved to confound the pro-family traditional viewpoint and leaned heavily to please the loud squealing of the anything-goes crowd. Last week, the Washington Post lionized the student who, along with the Stonebridge HS Principal, launched her assault on traditional values with her same sex promotional play.
GAY PRIDE WEEK GETS IN THE ACT HONORS LOUDOUN’S GAY LOBBY
Now the gay pride march in Washington is welcoming Loudoun’s Gay Lobby, as “Heroes” officially and will award them for their accomplishments in a massive parade June 11. The gay pride festival is attended by 200,000 and will recognize, among other things, the “hard work” of the Loudoun Lobby for pushing the School Board to pass an “acceptable” policy. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO END THIS WAY.
After the screaming and the chanting from thousands of anti-Christian anti-Traditional Marriage adherents quiet down from their cheering the “Heroes”, perhaps they will mob the School Board on Tuesday, June 14 to keep the School Board under their influence.
WHAT WILL IT TAKE
Every newspaper in Loudoun assails the “stupid” Christians for “falsely” believing in keeping a reverence and high standard for moral leadership in public places. Elected leaders publicly proclaim they will not bring their “moral beliefs” to the public dais. So, by public admission, they embrace only a lack of morality.
YOU HAVE AN EMAIL LIST AND A PHONE LIST (include your Minister)
Don’t assume their is a common decency or standard for restricting immoral displays that will be passed. It will not be. Unless you act. A policy that condemns obscenity but ignores penalties or sanctions is proposed. Only a specific prohibition of previous immoral public acts, coupled with sanctions, can prevent another public display of sexual or perverse propaganda in a theatrical production. The draft policy that the Legislative and Policy Committee will recommend to the full board is an empty meaningless prohibition of things already prohibited. Period.
GO TO THE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING.
Emails can be written. Phone calls can be made. Visit the School Board website and call board members to ask them to “Support the Warren Guerin Language to prevent sexual acts”.(RECAP: This all started last September 2004 when Sterling Middle School distributed a survey asking if students had been asked their sexual orientation. The school board Superintendent asserted it was not a policy to ask students this type of question. I thanked him. He burst a gasket. Then the same-sex theatrical production made the headlines shortly after the Superintendent claimed it was not a policy. Now the School Board is considering to do nothing to prevent this downward spiral.)
