Supervisor Eugene Delgaudio (R-Sterling) believes that the guidance department at Sterling Middle School is advocating a political agenda because its parent survey on bullying mentions sexual preference.
In a letter Delgaudio wrote to School Board member J. Warren Geurin (Sterling) and distributed to the media at the joint school board/board of supervisors meeting late week, Delgaudio wrote that the item “talking about a student’s sexual preference” did not belong in the bullying survey because middle school children are “too young to understand the concept under the guise of combating bullying,” even though the survey was directed to their parents.
