The Progressive Action League (PAL) would like to express its great sorrow regarding the hateful and destructive acts of vandalism that were perpetrated against Heyward Drummond and John Ellis. It is a sad day when people choose to voice their differences through acts of intimidation and violence.
PAL wholeheartedly endorses The Cypress Project's effort in involving the community at large to help restore the property, and more importantly, ensuring a sense of safety to those who were violated.
We are thankful for the Project's mission and hope that by standing together we will send a clear message that hatred and bigotry are not acceptable.
